LAY THE FOUNDATION & EXPAND YOUR YOGA PRACTICE.
Students who join will meet once per week, for five consecutive Saturdays, starting this February 23.
Over the course of five weeks, students will grasp a solid understanding to some of the most fundamental components of a strong, healthy yoga practice. As the series develops into more intermediate/advanced concepts, so too will your practice grow allowing you to confidently take your practice into any studio that happens upon your path.
One topic will be respectively covered at each meeting time.
1. Introduction to Body Alignment & Its Application to Any Pose
2. Standing Postures
3. Floor Postures
4. Healthy Spine: Backbends & Twisting
5. Arm Balances & More Advanced Variations
· Learn proper ALIGNMENT in the key poses of yoga.
· Learn about how poses might be modified to best fit each person’s individual needs.
· Understand the key components of each posture to PREVENT INJURY and systematically HEAL the body through consistent practice.
· Build CONFIDENCE through progressive learning.
· Build up your yoga practice from a STRONG FOUNDATION.
*Early Bird Special – $125 per person; $200 for 2 people.
After February 20th – Series: $150 per person; Single Class: $40 per person.
