Discover the ancient lineage of yoga; how and why various styles of yoga developed; and how to apply this ancient wisdom in the modern world.
Before one can effectively teach asana, teachers must be knowledgeable and confident in the components of each asana. Larry will provide an in depth look at popular postures used in most styles of yoga.
Anatomy & Physiology
In this overview, future teachers will be given the most important information regarding the body, common ailments, modifications, and how to move through asana in proper alignment.
The Art of Sequencing
In this module, Larry teaches students how to lay the foundation for their unique teaching style while learning how to safely and stylistically transition from one asana to another.
The Professional Yogi
Regardless of how inspirational your classes are, grounding this skill with professionalism is of paramount importance in order to make a livelihood and keep your passion for yoga alive. Larry will help students learn fundamentalprofessional skills ranging from how to book one’s first public class to client retention.
The Studio Business 101
Many yogis ponder the idea of opening a studio. Is it right for you? Jenna will discuss what the life of a studio owner is like as well as provide frank advice on how to successfully open your own studio.
Postmodern Nutrition & Feeding Your Primary Foods
It’s said that nutrition is 80% of how one looks and feels. Jenna will discuss integrative nutrition while looking at some common myths and modern truths regarding nutrition, wellness culture, and the essential role nutrition plays in our lives.
